Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective September 3, 2026 · Version 2026-09-03
This policy applies to ServiceOS trials and paid subscriptions purchased directly from ServiceOS.
Trials
If a free trial is offered, its duration and included plan are shown at signup. A trial that does not require a payment method does not automatically become a paid subscription unless you separately complete paid checkout. Trial features or limits may differ from paid plans.
Paid subscriptions and renewal
Paid monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods until canceled, unless checkout states otherwise. Prices, billing interval, and applicable taxes are shown before purchase. By purchasing, you authorize the payment processor to charge the selected payment method for recurring amounts when due.
Upgrades and downgrades
Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the next renewal depending on the option shown. Proration or credits, if any, are determined by the checkout/billing configuration presented when the change is made.
Cancellation
You may cancel through available billing controls or by contacting ServiceOS Support. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the already-paid period. Canceling does not automatically refund amounts already charged.
Failed payments and grace periods
If a payment fails, ServiceOS may retry the charge, notify account contacts, provide a limited grace period, restrict paid features, or suspend access until the account is brought current. Current grace-period behavior is shown in the Service or billing notices.
Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly stated in a written offer, subscription charges are non-refundable after the applicable billing period begins. ServiceOS may issue discretionary credits or refunds in appropriate cases, including duplicate charges or confirmed billing errors. Contact ServiceOS Support promptly with billing concerns.
Taxes
Prices may exclude taxes. You are responsible for applicable sales, use, value-added, withholding, or similar taxes except taxes based on ServiceOS income. Where required, taxes may be calculated and collected through the payment processor.
Payment processor
ServiceOS uses third-party payment processing. Payment processing is also subject to the processor’s terms and privacy practices. Do not send full payment-card numbers through ServiceOS support, notes, or other free-text fields.
